Hooop App

**What is HOOOP?**

- Hooop is a location-based social media application that allows users in the same area to interact and communicate with each other.
- Users can join the platform by creating a profile and share photos and videos.
- The photos and videos shared by a user can be seen by other Hooop users nearby, and similarly, the user can see the posts of other users in their feed. (One Hooop covers an area of 2 km².)
- There is no following system on Hooop.
- Since it is a location-based application, when a user changes location, their "hooopta" also changes, allowing them to experience different interactions in different places.
- To create a live platform and help users capture the moment, posts are deleted **after 2 hours**.
- Users can communicate with others through Hooop’s chat system. If a user wants to connect, they send a request using the **"signal"** button, and if the other party accepts, a chat screen opens.

**AROUND Feature**

- Businesses such as restaurants and cafés can create a company profile on Hooop to share photos and videos. This allows individual users to stay informed about nearby venues, while businesses can promote themselves by sharing their real-time status through the app.
- Posts from corporate businesses are displayed in a separate feed called **"around"**, preventing clutter in the main feed.
- Creating a company profile is free; however, this profile type has a daily post limit and a location-based posting limit. The daily post limit is **"2 posts per day"**, and the visibility of posts is restricted to the business’s **own hooopa**. Businesses that want to exceed these limits must pay a monthly fee.
- Corporate businesses outside of restaurants and cafés (e.g., Turkcell, Vodafone, Watsons, Gratis, etc.) can also advertise in the **around** feed for a fee.

**Hooop Campus Feature**

- Users can activate Hooop’s **"campus mode"** to view only posts made within the campus. This way, students can stay informed about what’s happening on campus.

- To create a **lively, social, and dynamic** platform that allows users to experience unique social interactions in their surroundings.
- To enable people to stay constantly engaged and communicate with each other.
- To help users choose venues that suit their preferences.
- To enhance information sharing within campuses, making it the **eyes and ears** of students.
